Select Board · Meeting of October 21, 2026

West Bridgewater's Board of Selectmen voted unanimously to deny a liquor and Common Victualer license transfer for Monero's Brazilian Steakhouse, citing an incomplete application. Vice Chair Marcie M. Lee chaired in the absence of Chairman Michael A. Perez. Town Administrator David said the applicants missed a September 30 deadline and never produced a signed purchase and sale agreement, calling the package incomplete; the restaurant must stay closed until the board's November 18 meeting, when a new application could be considered.

Clerk Jeffrey P. Ryan moved the denial. Separately, the board awarded a $4.827 million bond to TD Financial Products LLC at 3.542 percent interest, approved a BlackRock Global estoppel certificate for the 21 Lincoln Street project, and accepted a $55,000 grant for a zoning bylaw review. Electrical aggregation saved residents $480,000 over the past year, the board heard.
