WEST BRIDGEWATER — Water Commissioners approved a $6,621 pipe change order and tabled a contractor's 90-day extension request. Tata and Howard's James told the board that change order 9 covered fire-line and water-line penetrations that conflicted with the footing. The board approved a $17,100 air-scour controls upgrade, subject to adjustment if labor runs under 84 hours.
A commissioner called the pipe fix "the stuff that aggravates me." A 2-1 vote tabled Waterline's no-cost extension request to June 15.
