Water Commission approves minutes, hears Manley update
The Water Commissioners heard that the Manley project is running under budget but still has a data-logging fault.
Water Commissioners · Meeting of November 2, 2026
WEST BRIDGEWATER — The Water Commissioners heard that the Manley project is running under budget but still has a data-logging fault. A presenter said engineering is about $36,000 under budget, the project about $20,000 under, and about $517,000 of state revolving fund principal was not needed, which would lower the loan payment. The consultants recommended payment but said $9,000 in retainage would stay held after production data stopped logging when the month changed.
At the second project, the contractor agreed to pay for a cast-in-place replacement of a mis-cut mezzanine plank, with about $690,000 in contingency remaining. The commissioners approved Oct. 19 minutes by voice vote and met for about 31 minutes.
