WEST BRIDGEWATER — The West Bridgewater Conservation Commission closed a years-long hearing on a Zero Spring Street and Zero Manly Street subdivision and ordered a general stormwater permit. Engineer Scott Ferry of Homegrown Engineering also presented an updated two-lot subdivision plan for 58 South Street, which the commission continued to August 18 pending a revised plan showing a new water main loop. Engineer Samantha Cripps of P&P Consulting updated the commission on 65 Pleasant Street, saying the project awaits an answer from an official identified only as Rob Casper on whether an on-site septic system is required, calling it "the main thing" holding up soil testing; that hearing was also continued to August 18.
The commission conditionally cleared a paving change at 600 Manly Street pending Planning Board review, continued a Zero Matfield Street hearing to August 18 awaiting a report from Brockton, and continued a 194 South Main Street hearing to September 1 amid word the owner may sell rather than redevelop. The meeting ended with a 5-0 roll-call vote to enter executive session over litigation strategy.
