West Bridgewater Planning Board Approves Vineyard Farm Site Plan 4-0
WEST BRIDGEWATER — June 17, 2026 — West Bridgewater Planning Board approves Vineyard Farm site plan 4-0, continues industrial road hearing. The board voted unanimously on June 17 to approve a modified site plan for Vineyard Farm Enterprises, Inc. at 175 East Center Street, authorizing updates to structures, parking, and fencing for the farm-and-events property in the General Residential and Farming Business and Floodplain District, with more than a dozen conditions including a minimum of two parking attendants during events and permanent fencing around a proposed riding arena, with revised plans due June 22. Engineer Eric Dias of Strongpoint Engineering told the board that Conservation Agent Tim Hay had agreed the stormwater review could proceed as an administrative approval, noting the farm opened for only three of a planned 16 event days in 2023 due to weather. The board continued the Horsepower Lane definitive subdivision road application — filed by MJM Construction for an industrial access corridor off Spring Street — to July 15 after neighbors from the 23-home Pearl Road subdivision raised concerns about road width waivers, bridge capacity, truck safety, and drainage, with attorney Patrick Mulvihill telling the board "every single aspect of the road, other than probably the depth of pavement, has a waiver." A separate contractor's storage yard application for a roughly 99,000-square-foot paved container storage operation at 0 Mattfield Street was also continued to a date to be determined pending coordinated peer review responses from both West Bridgewater and Brockton.
