West Bridgewater Planning Board approves gas station tank relocation after water-district review.
Planning Board · Meeting of September 2, 2026
West Bridgewater Planning Board approves gas station tank relocation after water-district review. The board voted unanimously to modify Colbea Enterprises LLC's special permit and site plan at 506 West Center Street, allowing underground fuel tanks to shift roughly 20 feet west and the drive-up window and menu board to be repositioned for traffic flow. Attorney Daniel, representing the applicant, said the tenant wanted to "maximize efficiency to get people to queue as fast as possible." The board separately tabled an as-built construction review for a warehouse at 790 North Main Street after learning the project's ET Engineering engineer was hospitalized.
Members also approved $759 and $87.97 in routine bills and accepted August 19 minutes 4-0 with one abstention. A long-pending occupancy condition at 790 North Main Street, tied to intersection work from a COVID-era 2020 approval, remains unresolved after four to five years of contractor delays.
