Planning Board · Meeting of August 5, 2026

WEST BRIDGEWATER — The West Bridgewater Planning Board closed its long-running Horsepower Lane Springsbury subdivision hearing and approved a loading-dock addition at D'Angelo's Manly Street building. Engineer Scott Sarris of MJM Construction told the board the applicant upgraded curbing from sloped to vertical granite to keep trucks off the pavement edge, saying "I need a waiver because I'm not doing exactly what you're telling me." The board also informally backed paving a gravel trailer lot at 600 Manly Street after an engineer found pavement "does not really change the numbers" for stormwater drainage. Separately, the board continued applications from Lou Tarantino's LJDE LLC to September 2 and from Andre and Luana Ferreira to August 19, and set a September 2 public hearing on relocating a drive-through window and storage tanks at 506 West Center Street.

Luana Ferreira told the board, "We asked an extension until the 19th because we're waiting for the surveyor to give us the site plan."
