WEST BRIDGEWATER -- Nine property transfers were recorded in West Bridgewater over the past month, but the majority moved property between people who share the same last name or into a trust bearing the seller's own name, and only two of the nine transactions disclosed a sale price.

Of those, seven listed no consideration amount, a pattern common in deed records for family and trust transfers. The two disclosed sale prices were $485 and $565, producing a median of $525 across those two transactions. With disclosure this limited, the count of nine recorded transfers is the most reliable gauge of activity for the period; the underlying price data is too sparse to characterize the market as active or quiet in dollar terms.

TOP SALES The highest disclosed sale was 208 Matfield Street, which sold for $565 on July 21. The sellers were John R. Eckstrom and the estate of Meredith A. Eckstrom; the buyer was Giovanni S. Perrone. The only other disclosed sale was 117 Prospect Street, which sold for $485 on July 7. The sellers were Dennisse Caratazzola and the estate of John C. Laundry Jr.; the buyers were Nicole Elizabeth Smith and Mackenzie Gary Lewis. The remaining seven recorded transfers -- at 301 West Center Street, 195 South Street, 85 Crescent Street, a parcel with no listed street address, 54 Kenneth Street, a Progressive Avenue parcel, and 143 Scotland Street -- carried no disclosed sale price in the deed record.
